Too many people come in with too many beautiful things that we just can’t help wanting to show them off. This page will be devoted to all those lovely things that all of you make that you bring in to share! Got something you think we’ll like? Bring it by and lets post it!
3-3-2010: CROCHETED WAVES
Our good friend Eileen sure has been busy! She came in over the weekend with some beautifully crocheted afghans…check out her amazing colors!

2-1-2010: SILKY WOOL WRAP
Polly Z. used a pattern from the summer 2009 issue of Debbie Bliss magazine to work a ruffled wrap …it can be worn a lot of different ways…here’s us trying it out doubled, with a shawl pin….its beautiful!

12-30-2009: LITTLE STAR SWEATER
This is the “Little Star Sweater” by Zoe Mellor, knitted by Marilyn Goff for her grandson. What a lucky tyke! This sweater is beautifully done, with perfect intarsia and even more perfect seams. Its knitted out of one of our newer yarns - Dolce Merino, a merino-microfiber blend very similar to Cashsoft, or Cashmerino. Its beautiful! Thanks for sharing with us!

12-02-2009: DANGERKNITS MONSTERS
Our Dangerknits trunkshow was a huge success! Our friend Heidi really fell in love with the patterns for the monsters…and went nuts! Here’s some of her unique creations based on the Dangerknits Patterns. The Mama and Baby Monster was too cute not to deserve its own photo.

12-01-2009: COTTON CLASSIC WRAP
We love this shawl, and we’ve posted versions of it here before…here’s another gorgeous one! This wrap can be found in the book “Mason Dixon Knits” and is done here in Tahki’s “Cotton Classic.” One of our customers, Joyce Fox, selected this AWESOME color palette and knitted this one…we love it!

11-24-2009: COLONNADE WRAP

This is a wonderful (wrap? shawl? both, maybe?) made by one of our teachers, Susan Dingle out of “Baby Alpaca Grande” by Plymouth and “Colourscape Chunky” by Rowan. The pattern is called “Colonnade” and is currently available at knitty.com. This has been popular at the shop, and lots of people have knit it after seeing Susan’s! Below is a lovely take on the Colonnade by Carole Fanning, done with “Kathmandu Aran” and “Lumpy Bumpy” by Farmhouse Yarns!

11-21-2009: CROCHETED FLOWERS

These are lovely flowers that were crocheted by Dena Kennedy, a lovely friend of ours who hosts our bi-monthly crochet group. This quick, yet effective, embellishments were made in a variety of leftovers. They were mainly made in “Galway” by Plymouth and “Classic Alpaca” by The Alpaca Company, but it looks like other bits may have been used. These are wonderful! She says she’s going to felt them, but I’m not sure that is necessary…what do you think?
